Here it is, guys! International Music Summit (IMS) and co-host A2LiVE have finally announced their first round of speakers. The invited speakers are clearly some of the strongest panels of executives we’ve seen in the music world. Partnering with Budweiser STORM Festival, the 3rd instalment of IMS Asia-Pacific will be taking place at the prestigious Hyatt on the Bund in Shanghai.

“The Asia-Pacific region offers some of the biggest opportunities to the electronic music industry, yet is largely unknown for most who live and work outside of it,” says Pete Tong, IMS co-founder.

In a territory that hosts more than 60% of the world’s population, topics will be focused on the preservation of dance music culture, diversity, locality and corporatism, emerging markets within the region, promoting sustainability and Green issues, assessing fair market value within the genre and looking at the big picture of the industry in ASIA.

We have picked some of the few that are really standing out – perhaps the biggest industry influencers in Asia. Voted in one of Rolling Stone’s “Top 50 Most Influential People in EDM” is Co-Founder & CEO of Spinnin’ Records – Eelko Van Kooten – who’d helped launch the careers of superstar Martin Garrix, EDM pioneers Avicii, and platinum record-selling DJ Hardwell.
