Ditto Music is Hiring Head of Operations in the Philippines
Ditto Music (stylized as DI++O) is an online music distribution company. It distributes music to 160 digital music stores, including iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, VEVO, eMusic, Spotify, Beatport, Rhapsody.
Ditto Music have achieved 11 UK Top 40 hits with unsigned artists to date, founded 6,000 record labels, were the first to put an unsigned band on Spotify and have openly spoken out supporting artists’ rights
Ditto is Currently operating in 12 worldwide territories and has worked with artists like Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Royal Blood and many more. It was nominated for Best Label/Artist Services Company at the Music Week Awards in 2017 and 2018.
As for its new expansion into the Philipines, they are looking for an experienced music industry professional to head up its operations. You must be already working within the music industry.
Requirement:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience at management level within the local music industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent tertiary education
- Demonstrate understanding of the essentials of marketing and can drive and/or assist in the steps necessary to get a program/merchandising program in the field
- A strong local and international network is essential. Will already have strong contacts within the local music market. This includes artists, labels and streaming platforms
- A good understanding of the current music industry, especially streaming and current and emerging marketing practices
- Should have high standards, a strong work ethic and be able to function autonomously while retaining team membership and spirit
- Strong leadership qualities with a bigger picture outlook, committed to growing the brand where possible.
- Speak both English and Local Languages.
