Music Release of the Week: The Polar Bears East Java, Indonesia band released new music.
East Java, Indonesia band released new music.
Malang math rock trio, The Polar Bears, recently released third single entitled “More Than You Chew”.
Inspired by the story of Marcel the drummer, the melody of this song was written by Reffyga, arranged by Lilo and Marcel,
The band, fronted by Yudhistiro Lilo Pambudi (guitar/vocals), Marcellino Gibrany Santoso (drums/vocals), and Reffyga Pratama Yudana (bass/vocals), this time provides a new single with a heartbreak theme entitled “More Than You Can Chew”.
The single “More Than You Can Chew” was written based on Marcel’s past love story, which was then arranged and the lyrics were perfected by Reffyga.
The production process was handled by Lilo.
The Polar Bears presents a story about the end of a love affair based on many demands without any reciprocal relationship and understanding.
Again, still with their signature twinkly arrangement but this time wrapped in a melancholic touch.
Instead of releasing an EP (extended play), The Polar Bears chose to release “More Than You Can Chew” as a follow-up single for their debut full album which is currently being worked on and planned for release at the end of 2024.
The single “More Than You Can Chew” is now available on all DSP platforms starting August 9, 2024.
