Metaverses are fast becoming the virtual norm to get grooving. Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 recorded breaking 1,000 slimings last Saturday from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. The show is hosted by actress Miranda Cosgrove and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski.
Nickelodeon gets on with the show with star appearances in colorful, youthful apparel to sing, dance, and throw slime at each other. Nothing more needs to be said when kids are involved. Pure joy, perhaps? Not forgetting who the winners are, Music Press Asia highlights, in a kid’s perspective, deserving names below.
These winners may not come as a surprise to us. Introducing them via the High School Musical trademark cannot be more than sure to alleviate their world-class performance as artists. Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett are just pure joy to watch. Their appearances at the Grammys, and now Nickelodeon, are accentuating a buoyant culture of youthfulness arduous to replicate.
Adele wins the “Favorite Global Music Star” category, not by good fortune. Her career is justified even from a kid’s perspective a deserving win. Aspirations are hard to come by and Adele’s assiduous efforts as an artist have brought her this far. Like a big sister, she tops the best character any of us want to articulate in music.
BTS Breaks Their Own Guinness World Record With Their Win At 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. With this latest achievement, BTS has now extended their own Guinness World Record for “the most Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards won by a music group.” Last year, BTS earned the title by tying with Fifth Harmony at five wins each, but they have now broken that tie by winning the sixth award.
There is no rival to what Disney and its animated movies can do. Encanto, its most recent animation movie continues to captivate the hearts of our young adolescents and adults. It’s not only the music here, but the interpretation of wit from its animated character. They won “Favorite Animated Movie”, rightly so, for many more moons to come.
Billie Eilish isn’t a new name ever since the pandemic ensued. Her creative depth in illustrating hazardous wit of life cannot easily explain her speedy rise to fame. Her song Happier Than Ever, a progressive artistic expression that bagged “Favorite Song”, is in a kid’s opinion, nothing short of a remarkable achievement.
If you haven’t heard of Zendaya and Tom Holland at this point, then get perky because these two are accomplished names associated with Marvel’s latest strategy and also the US film industry. Positively idiosyncratic as it may sound, brilliance is at the root of a culture that sides artistic canniness described.
Scarlett Johansson isn’t embracing motherhood without a fight. She joins others behind the set of Sing 2 to personify Ash in Sing 2 and has led to being Nickelodeon’s “Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie”. Listen here to Johansson sing I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.
The Kids’ Choice Award has also selected Minecraft as its “Favorite Video Game” winner.
