Cantonese Hong Kong Singer Joey Yung Tours Asia Enroute To Las Vegas
Joey Yung容祖兒 recently celebrated her twentieth anniversary as an artist performer. With live concerts returning after the pandemic, it is time to get on the road.
In less than three days’ time, Yung will be appearing at the Arena Of Stars, a 5,000-seat live music venue in Genting Highlands – not too far from the city of Kuala Lumpur. A week later and 8,000 miles away from her first show, Yung will be appearing at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. Her second performance in a Canadian city will see her LIVE at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino, Niagara Falls.
From then on, she moves speedily across the U.S. stopping at Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City on Nov 24, a city where the highlights of the world converge. Among others who made the same pit stop include celebrity artists Pink Floyd and Engelbert Humperdinck. The Encore Theatre at Wynn Las Vegas will see her perform for two nights on Nov 25 & 26 alongside other concerts including Lionel Richie’s. The tour ends on Dec 3 at Reno’s Event Center.
Joey Yung is a Cantopop singer signed to Emperor Entertainment Group, a company from a line of diversified group of companies founded by Albert Yeung in Hong Kong whose original business came from starting a watch shop by his father in 1942. Emperor Group recently celebrated its 80th anniversary. Emperor Entertainment Academy for Performing Arts continues to train prominent artists such as Yung to perform worldwide.
Yung released a Chinese single, “So Fresh (featuring Dany Lee),” in August 2021. Her latest album titled Schrödinger’s Cat sees her magical presentation of a thought experiment devised by physicist Erwin Schrodinger in 1935, a topic related to quantum mechanics.
