OAG, Geisha, Bunkface, Amelina, Ruffedge, Ramli Sarip and five-member Korean pop group NCT Dream are now confirmed and set to wow audience with amazing song and dance at KL Jamm held at MITEC

Set to take place from April 26-28, 2019, KL Jamm is a three-day music festival, held at the Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Centre [MITEC], Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

When music festival KL Jamm revealed its opening act “Re-Jamm” featuring Sheila Majid, Zainal Abidin and Afdlin Shauki just over a month ago, little did we know of what was to come. Releasing a lineup of Malaysia’s top acts for its prime spots over the course of a three-day music festival, KL Jamm sets the precedent as Malaysia’s the largest music festival 2019.

Here are some of the highlights.

ZAMANI began his career with the group Slam and is now known to be one of the most popular Malay pop male solo artistes in the region. He made a fresh comeback in 2018 through Astro’s Gegar Vaganza 5 competition as he proved to be a multi-talented entertainer and one, not to be missed at KL Jamm 2019.

Signed to South Korea’s label SM Entertainment, Korean pop group NCT DREAM, is fast creating a name since they debuted in 2016. The group became the only Asian act to have featured on Billboard’s “21 Under 21 2018: Music’s Next Generation”. They debut their first main act in Malaysia in a two-hour K pop tribute concert together with DJ Blink, Lunadira, Mad G, Virus Ladies and Kueendo.

I-JAMM highlights a celebration of Indonesia’s mega pop bands — Nidji and Geisha — both signed to Musica Studios. Nidji aspires towards the musical expressions of Coldplay, Radiohead, The Killers and Goo Goo Dolls. And showcases its newest addition to the group, vocalist Yusuf Ubay, replacing former member Giring Ganesha. Geisha’s popularity obviously isn’t a one-day wonder. With over 81 million views on YouTube, her single “Lumpuhkan Ingatanku” remains a global sensation in the Malay marketplace.

Hip hop acts include artists and friends of Kartel Records, featuring Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, Alif, Yung Raja, Fariz Jabba and more. These artists celebrates Asia’s very own aesthetics when it comes to embracing the hip hop culture when MTV celebrates YO! MTV Raps’ 30th anniversary and released its very own series of episodes of the programmes’ Asia version, hosted by Joe Flizzow, Zamaera, Kim Lee and Yung Raja.
