The Northern Music Festival returns with an insanely huge lineup this year. Slated to take place at Penang Botanic Gardens this weekend 12-13 November 2016, festival-goers are going to be spoilt for choice with over 70 acts to choose from across three stages. Named as one of the largest music festival in Northern Malaysia, its lineup will feature OAG, Bittersweet, Bunkface, Oh Chentaku and more.
While EDM has been a popular sub genre lately, the festival has invited over 11 Djs to deck it out on the Electric Stage – Xes Xes LoveSeat, DJ K, Edycted, HighTech, C2K, Kopigo and more.
Pre-parties have been taking place all of this week at various venues across the country including Kim Haus Penang, JunkCafe on Chulia Street and The Berlin KL.
The festival has also partnered with Raku to launch the official NMF2016 Playlist which could be downloadable via their app or through web browser http://play.raku.my/nmf . On the tech side, the festival is following some of the coolest and newest innovations from PouchNation to inspire a smoother and fun festival experience – its cashless wristband that doubles as entry as well as a cashless wallet that allows cashless purchase at the festival grounds.
