Rosenberg was officially appointed Executive Vice President of Corporate Security at F-Secure recently after leaving MixRadio, a global streaming music and personal radio service, which has recently closed down after functioning for over 17 years. Rosenberg has previously worked for Microsoft Devices Group and Nokia Corporation in a number of senior roles in marketing, sales, product development and general management.
MixRadio, previously owned by Microsoft and sold to Line Corporation in late 2014, faced stern competition after loosing out in the competitive market that saw big players like Spotify and Apple Music play huge marketing strategy to boost its services. Other music platform that shut down in recent months include Samsung’s Milk and Rdio.
MixRadio, officially closed on March 2016 and has referred its users to Groove Music run by Microsoft. Tracks purchased via Nokia Music can now be played on any digital music player, citing “a careful assessment of the subsidiary’s overall performance” and “the financial challenges posed by the music streaming market”.
