Classical Music Academy Schlossakademie Opens Debut Concert Competition Registration
Are you between 16 and 33 years old and totally in love with classical music and by the way also plays the violin, and or cello and sing?
Then we believe this is for you.
In its latest digital newsletter, Schlossakademie announced its season’s competition for those who major in the violin, cello and voice.
Schlossakademie is just one of the many music academies in Europe searching for some of the very best students.
In its best efforts to attract music students, the academy launches a music competition for the violin, cello and voice.
The Debut Concert Competition is just the beginning for many musicians in the classical world. It aims to sound just like the name it offers – to debut the professional career of a soloist – one that will perhaps tour and perform worldwide one day.
The competition has already announced its final concert date – Dec, 22. And the Grand Hall of the Berliner Philharmonie will be the backdrop to the winner chosen to perform there.
You may apply only if you’re born after June 15, 1991 and before June 15, 2008.
What would you have to do? Prepare a piece of your choice (between 10-45 minutes).
A recorded video of your performance of your chosen work (accompanied by an orchestra or piano, or solo, in a studio or live recording) must be submitted as YouTube- or Vimeo-link, or another media available for download.
The video must be submitted before December 1st, 2024.
Multiple applications from the same person performing different works are allowed (application fees apply separately).
The application deadline is December 1st, 2024. Applications are accepted online, and the video recording of your performance must also be submitted by this date.
The application fee is 95 EUR. Please pay the application fee before December 1st, 2024, using the private registration link that you received in the registration email.
The competition results will be published on December 7th, 2024.

Schlossakademie is the organiser of the competition. To date, the academy boasts 29 winners of international competitions with over 512 successful admissions to EU conservatories.
Its most recent masterclass sees Professor Anna Samuil from the Music University Hanns Eisler Berlin in a two-day course from Nov 23-24, 2024.
The music academy has locations in Germany and Austria.
