BBC Earth Is Now Available on Astro Malaysia’s Pay TV

Eden: Untamed Planet is now available on Astro. Music Press Asia

BBC Earth, BBC Lifestyle and BBC Studios’ on-demand channels BBC Brit and BBC First have launched on Malaysia’s Astro.

BBC Studios has finally extended its relationship with Malaysia’s pay TV giant Astro. Launching together its linear channels BBC Earth and BBC Lifestyle with on-demand channels BBC First and BBC Brit.

Astro made BBC Earth and BBC Lifestyle was made available from 15 September, with BBC First and BBC Brit launched 15 October.

BBC Studios programs – Joanna Lumley’s as travel host, Jamie Oliver’s cooking show and Colin Farrell’s series The North Water – have all won stunning reviews.

BBC Earth is home to award-winning natural history and science programming such as Primates, Dynasties, Seven Worlds, One Planet, A Perfect Planet and the upcoming series Eden: Untamed Planet. BBC Lifestyle features the BBC’s host of home, design and cookery shows from global names such as Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver.

BBC First is the home of premium, original British dramas such as Killing Eve, Luther and The North Water. Variety and entertainment channel BBC Brit features shows like Top Gear and Mr. Bean.

Eden: Untamed Planet invites viewers to travel to the far corners of the planet and discover the secrets of Earth’s few remaining untouched lands, all flourishing with rich biodiversity. The 6-episode series highlights six rare areas including Borneo’s rainforest, Namib Desert, Luangwa, Galapagos, Patagonia, and Alaska.
