An equivalent event to the Asia TV Forum & Market here in Asia, the film industry in the U.S is a global five-day event which sees over US$1 billion in production and distribution deals closed every year.

AFM 2021 will go entirely ‘online’ will be held Monday, November 1 to Friday, November 5 . Program at AFM 2021 will be featuring Industry Offices, Screenings, Conferences, Panels and Workshops, the Networking Pavilion, LocationEXPO, and more.

“We wish we could welcome the global industry back to Santa Monica but travel regulations, increased concerns about coronavirus variants around the world, and government restrictions on the ground prevent us from moving forward,” said Michael Ryan, Chairperson, IFTA and Partner, GFM Films.

“However, IFTA is thrilled to host the market the industry expects – where no one will be excluded and all of our stakeholders can immerse themselves for five days dedicated to deal making, discovery, education, and reconnecting.”

Being the most efficient film acquisition, development and networking event in the world, its annual event sees over 7,000+ professionals from 70+ countries gained access to global catalogue of films and projects, attend world class conferences, and connected with decision makers in the industry.

The AFM is produced by the Independent Film & Television Alliance®.

With US$295, the AFM is offering one-year subscription to Cinando’s industry database and all virtual access to conferences, workshops and panels for three months after AFM. Registration to attend its five-day online event is now open.
