Stream of Praise Released New Single, Covid-19 Inspired

Taiwan’s largest music ministries, Stream of Praise joins effort with others have released latest single dedicated to encouraging front liners to fight Covid-19.

Stream of Praise music ministries have recently released their latest single 盡情地微笑 Smile – 同心合一版
in a collaboration with the Joshua Orchestra, Tianyun Chorus, Xindian Xingdao Club and Taipei Fuxing Church.

Directly translated as ‘Because of Love, Smile to our Heart’s Content’, the title of the single was inspired by the ongoing pandemic that is just beginning its spread in Taiwan over the last week.

According to Stream of Praise, the song is also dedicated to medical staff and frontliners currently fighting to keep the disease under control. The music video was launched on May 26, and was produced by a team led by Sandy Yu — one of SOP’s longest serving music producer.

In a collective message to its listeners, said “We hope to encourage every friend, not to be afraid of the end of the night, let go of disappointment and sadness, as long as we are together, even if we can’t embrace each other, we can experience the touch of life supporting each other, and after the tears, we will find hope again.”

** According to Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) on May 31, there have been a report of 274 new local Covid-19 cases, 73 backlog cases and 15 deaths to date, bringing the country’s total death toll to 124. Since the outbreak began, Taiwan’s authority has already carried out 502, 354 Covid-19 tests, with 466,018 coming back negative. To date, CECC continues to remind the public of its Level 3 restrictions, which requires the public to wear a mask at all times outside their homes.
