808 Festival is a valid excuse for a year-end trip to Bangkok this December. This two-day event taking place on the 9th and 10th of December at Oasis Arena @ Show DC is going to house some of the most pristine acts ever performed in the region.
New acts announced include Amelie Lens, Axwell, Timmy Trumpet, Slander, Boombox Cartel, ANOTR, DVBBS, Gryffin and Sam Paganni.
Amelie Lens, a Belgian techno DJ, debuts her appearance at 808 Festival as well as Asia. Having played all over the UK, Belgium, Germany, for Circo Loco at DC10 in Ibiza and many ADE events, her professional music career got a kickstart after performing at landmark festivals like Awakenings.
Who can forget the sensational Axwell, who has been performing in some of the largest festivals and venues in the world.
Famous for their mix up trap influences, LA duo Slander enters the festival scene through some of the newest sub-genre we have ever heard of – Heaven Trap, plus the in demand of the Mexican-born duo Boombox Cartel from the Mad Decent label. Their pristine sound may just be some of the top highlights for 808 Festival.
House meets Tech House masters – Defected and Armada Music Dutch duo ANOTR – bring the house down with its diverse and dizzying sounds, plus Canadian brothers DVBBS who has headlined Tomorrowland and Creamfields. Not forgetting dance mafia from the America’s EDM and future house genre Gryffin, and Sam Paganni more known for his techno beats.
We’ll be giving out some tickets to 808 Festival this December. Stay tuned.
