Hangzhou Asian Games Released Theme Song
Official theme song
Hangzhou Asian Games official theme song “The Love We Share” was released recently with a Mandarin and English version.
The song is composed by John Zhang Yijiang with lyrics by Han Bing.
With the theme, “Asian community with a shared future,” the song’s music video presents iconic landmarks and awe-inspiring landscapes from across Asia, as well as people of different colors and ethnicities coming together to celebrate as “one Asian family.”
It was scheduled for release exactly 30 days before the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, part of the countdown month activities.

Hangzhou Asian Games 2023
In a recent press conference, Executive Secretary General of HAGOC and Deputy Mayor of Hangzhou, Chen Weiqiang said that the 8-year preparations for the Asian Games had reached an end.
The Games according to Chen will produce 481 gold medals after two roller skating events were cancelled due to lack of National Olympic Committees’ participation.
From September 23 to October 8, five co-host cities will collaborate to host 54 competition venues covering 40 sports and 61 disciplines in Hangzhou.
The torch relay will kick off on Sept 8 (Fri.), with the first torchbearer beginning the journey at Yongjin Park.
A folk craft theme creation exhibition was recently held at Zhejiang Exhibition Hall in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province. Themed the Asian Games, the exhibition which end on Aug 20 showcased over 100 folk arts and crafts works created by 56 Zhejiang artists.
The elements of the Hangzhou Asian Games are expressed in the forms of 26 folk crafts, including embroidery, stone carving, wood carving, tie-dyeing, paper cutting, pottery and farmer painting.
