Minakekke’s Album ‘Memorabilia’ To Release Next Month
Co-produced by Tatsuki Hashimoto. Toshihiko Kasai for recording/mixing. Mastering is done by John Davis of Metropolis Studios (UK).
“i/o”, the first release from the album, is a danceable electronic number that symbolizes this work with a sound like dubstep. Last Summer is a new release of the song released in the acoustic version last year as an Alternate Mix with a beautiful arrangement, and 3D sound. The title song Memorabilia starts like a folky SSW with acoustic guitar and bassoon and changes to a magnificent shoegaze sound in the second half. Odyssey, the lead song of the album, is the song that puts the most emphasis on the theme “remembering”. It’s a number that incorporates Chicago house/Detroit techno elements while being an iconic refrain and emotional and melodious song.
