Music producers Audio Network Australia Expands To Asia

Music Producers Audio Network, a Sydney-based operation that specialises in original music for film, television and digital media, has announced its move into the Asia Pacific region.

Previously based in Hong Kong and represented by sub-publisher – Blonde Media – Audio Network Australia will now continue to license and service its clients exclusively in the APAC region as of 1 July 2017. In addition to the expansion of the Sydney office to include APAC, the company recently launched Audio Network France, having recently acquired its Paris-based sub-publisher, A Music.

“Working directly in the region allows us to provide an even greater creative experience for content creators and a seamless approach to global music licensing. This is an exciting opportunity to build upon the success of the Australian operation, and work across a dynamic creative region,” said Robb Smith, CEO of Audio Network Group.

Audio Network first disrupted the market landscape in 2001, by offering a unique proposition to the media industry — a simple and transparent model that allowed its music to be distributed on multiple platforms, anywhere in the world, forever.

For the last 15 years, the business has grown consistently year on year with The Sunday Times listing Audio Network as one of the UK’s fastest growing companies (Tech Track 2011, 2012, 2013; Profit Track 100 2013, 2014 and 2015; SME Export track 2015). Audio Network has offices in London, LA, New York, Sydney, Toronto, Amsterdam, Paris, Munich and Manchester, and over 130 dedicated music advisers and aficionados working with the team.
