Stray Kids, aespa, IVE, and ENHYPEN Shine at Macau’s Fact Music Awards 2025.
The 2025 The Fact Music Awards concluded on September 20 in Macau, marking the eighth edition of the ceremony since it began in 2019. Hosted by Jun Hyun Moo and Seohyun, the event once again brought together top K-pop acts to celebrate outstanding achievements.
This year, the Daesang (Grand Prize) awards were shared by Stray Kids, aespa, IVE, and ENHYPEN. Stray Kids won four awards including Honor of the Year and Record of the Year. aespa also took home three honors, one of which was Muse of the Year, while ENHYPEN matched them with three wins including Icon of the Year. IVE was awarded twice, including Sound of the Year.

Why Winning This Award Is Significant Regionally
Winning at The Fact Music Awards doesn’t just bring trophies—it carries considerable impact, especially within Asia and among K-pop’s global audience:
- It boosts an artist’s reputation, signaling both commercial and artistic success.
- It increases exposure in diverse markets—mainland Asia, Southeast Asia, online streaming communities—helping artists reach new fans and media outlets.
- It strengthens fan loyalty, which translates into streaming, sales, and support for future projects
- It opens up additional revenue and networking possibilities: endorsements, tours, collaborations, and media partnerships.
- It enhances an artist’s standing in the industry, enabling better promotional backing and more ambitious projects.
- It contributes to the broader influence of Hallyu, helping define what acts or sounds are gaining regional—and sometimes global—traction.
Some artists use a major win as a springboard to expand internationally or reposition themselves in their home market. While it’s harder to cite public data linking The Fact Music Awards specifically to case studies, we can observe similar patterns elsewhere in K-pop:

- BTS: Over the years, BTS has won numerous Daesangs across multiple major Korean award ceremonies, which helped reinforce their status as a top-tier act, supporting their momentum into global markets.
- 2NE1: In their debut year, 2NE1 won Song of the Year at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (a Daesang), which gave them strong industry reputation early and helped cement their presence.
- TWICE: Their accumulation of award wins (including major prizes) coincided with increasingly higher album sales, greater media exposure, and successful market expansion across Asia.
While not the same show, these examples reflect how major awards in the same industry tend to correlate with career acceleration.
