Hong Kong Arts Festival Announced No Limits 2025 Free Online Program

No Limits is now offering free viewing for its online programs of international features films and documentaries.
The programs are co-presented by the Hong Kong Arts Festival and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities. And with the strategic supporting partners Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong.
From now to May 19, 2025, the programs will be free for viewing. Here’s the feature below:

The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic by Teemu Nikki, with sound mixing by Peter Albrechtsen. The Blind Man Who Did Not Want To See Titanic is a Finnish film about a disabled man, Jaakko Jarvinen, and his adventure experience of traveling alone to another city. Jaakko has multiple sclerosis, which has taken his sight and his ability to walk, and he uses a wheelchair to get around. He has a white cane that he can use to probe the ground in front of him or locate fallen belongings.
The physical screening will be at Laundry Steps, Tai Kwun from Jan 11-12 at 3pm.

In the dance production by ErGao Dance Production Group, Hide-and-Seek, is a collaboration with visually impaired artist Wang Zeyu to explore the lives of visually impaired individuals through a childhood game. The year-long creative process is documented in this video.
Launched in 2019 and co-presented by the Hong Kong Arts Festival and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, “No Limits” offers barrier-free performances and events, and explores and promotes inclusiveness and understanding through the arts.

This year, its programme includes the local commission In Touch We Trust, a large-scale community programme, created together with individuals from Hong Kong’s visually impaired community, that explores the relationships between caregivers and those who receive their care.
Its opening programme features two unique performances by the US jazz pianist Matthew Whitaker and his musical partners that pay tribute to jazz masters through the ages.
Its closing concert features local pianist Anson Tang and British flautist Ruth Montgomery.
In 2025, the seventh edition of “No Limits” showcases a series of fascinating programmes of music, dance, theatre and film by international and Hong Kong artists of different abilities.
